What is the benefit of the Sandwich Painting Technology used in sugargaze contact lenses?

The Sandwich Painting Technology places the color layer securely between lens materials instead of on the surface. This prevents direct contact between pigments and your eyes, helping maintain color stability while improving comfort and safety for daily wear.

If you’re new to contact lenses, daily or monthly lenses are a great place to start because they’re convenient and easy to care for. Yearly lenses can also be an option for some beginners, offering durability and long-lasting comfort.

No matter which type you choose, proper fit and care are essential. We recommend consulting an eye care professional to find the option that best suits your eyes and lifestyle.

Choosing the correct contact lens diameter depends on your eye measurements and the specifications provided in your prescription. The average lens diameter is around 14.0mm, typically ranging from 14.0mm to 14.5mm, depending on eye size and lens design.

The diameter measures the lens from edge to edge and plays an important role in achieving a proper fit, comfort, and clear vision. It works together with other parameters, such as the base curve, to ensure optimal performance. An eye care professional will determine the appropriate diameter during an eye exam, and it’s important to follow the prescribed measurements.

The appearance of contact lenses can vary due to several factors, including lighting, camera filters, surrounding colors, your natural eye color, eye shape, or makeup. Slight differences between the product photos and the lenses you receive are normal.

Kindly note: If you have any concerns about your lenses, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving them. Make sure to include a photo of the lenses so we can assist you promptly: service@sugargaze.com

Not necessarily. While many people assume that higher water content in contact lenses helps with dry eyes, this is not always true. In fact, lenses with very high water content can sometimes cause faster evaporation of moisture, which may make dry eyes feel worse for some users.

Step 1: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Gently take the lens out of the packet and make sure it is the correct side (the lens should form a perfect bowl, not a flared edge).

Step 2: Hold your upper eyelid with one hand and pull down your lower eyelid with the other. Use your index finger to gently place the lens on your eye.

Step 3: After placing the lens, look up, down, left, and right to help it settle comfortably into place. Close your eye for a moment to allow the lens to adjust.

Step 4: Repeat the same steps for the other eye.
